Notice what is already here
Begin with observation. What have you completed, learned or changed since your last check-in? Include the unremarkable progress: a clearer boundary, a useful conversation or a routine that became easier. You do not need a dramatic event to justify reflecting.
Name what still needs attention
Choose one unfinished issue and describe it plainly. Separate facts from interpretation. “We have not agreed on a date” is more workable than a sweeping story about what another person must feel. Decide whether a conversation, a practical step or more time would help.
Leave with a realistic next step
If you like the symbolism of releasing something, translate it into an action: remove an unnecessary obligation or stop checking a task that is already finished. Keep commitments and real-world consequences in view. A lunar reflection is optional, and the same exercise can be useful on any evening.
