What a horoscope can offer

We treat astrology as a symbolic tradition and a tool for reflection. There is no established scientific evidence that zodiac placements predict personality or events. Our readings and guides are entertainment and educational material. They do not replace your judgment or professional advice.

Daily, weekly and monthly readings

Readings are supplied free by FreeHoroscopeAPI, whose published terms permit reuse with attribution. We show the provider's date or period. Daily readings are checked against the current UTC date; weekly readings against the current Monday-based week; monthly readings against the current calendar month. Your local day may differ.

Readings are stored on our server so an available reading can appear without waiting for the supplier. Background jobs allow slow responses more time and retry failed requests at progressively wider intervals, respecting the supplier’s requested waiting periods. Retries continue after you leave the page. We keep the last valid reading and its original provider date while waiting for an update. If no reading is available, we say so; we never generate an invented replacement. Your browser checks for updates only while the page is visible and online.

Moon calculations

Phase, illumination, tropical zodiac longitude and upcoming quarter phases are computed on your device with Astronomy Engine 2.1.19, an open-source library distributed under the MIT license. These are astronomical calculations; the reflective prompts are our editorial interpretation. The dates shown use your browser timezone, while phase itself is global. The calculation library is served from this site; it does not need a live connection to an outside astronomy supplier.

Signs and compatibility

We use the Western tropical zodiac: twelve equal 30-degree divisions beginning at the March equinox, not the unequal astronomical constellations. Birth-date ranges are approximate. People born near a boundary need an exact birth-date calculation. NASA explains the ecliptic and constellations.

Sign profiles, rituals and field notes are original editorial writing based on traditional associations. Compatibility explanations compare elements, modalities and angular relationships between signs. They are not a measured score or a full synastry reading. We do not generate lucky numbers, percentages or supposedly optimal times and present them as measured facts.

Your journal stays with you

Journal entries and your remembered sign are stored in localStorage in this browser. They are not uploaded to us. You can export or clear your journal. Browser data can be erased by your device or browser; export anything you want to keep. Notes are not encrypted against other people with access to the same browser profile.

The site uses no advertising or analytics scripts. Our hosting server may retain ordinary access logs such as IP address, requested path and browser information. Reading requests go to our server, which sends only the requested sign and reading period to the supplier. We do not send your IP address, journal text or birth information to that supplier. Private, size-limited operational logs record request timing, HTTP status, retry decisions and recovery so persistent supplier problems can be diagnosed. These data-service logs do not contain visitors’ IP addresses, birth details, journal entries or reading bodies. External links are governed by their own sites' policies.
